Xuejuan Wang, MD (Nuclear Medicine)

Dr. Wang is Associate Professor of Nuclear Medicine and Deputy-chief of Department of Education. She completed medical school at Peking University Health Science Center in Beijing. She began her residency at the Peking University First Hospital, in the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Wang finished his residency and fellowship at Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute in the Department of Nuclear Medicine. She enriches her career at University Hospital Basel in Switzerland as a Postdoctoral Associate, Baylor College of Medicine, and University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in USA as an instructor. Her research interests include PET/CT for cancer detection and PET-guided therapy, peptide-based diagnostic imaging and therapy, multimodality imaging, and sentinel lymph node imaging. 

Since joining the faculty at Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute in 2001, Dr. Wang is the Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the Committee of PET Chinese society of Nuclear Medicine, China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, and Beijing Society of Nuclear Medicine. She also is the reviewer of European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Research, Chinese Journal of Cancer Research, labeled immunoassays and clinical medicine, and oncoradiology. Dr. Wang has received several funding and grants including the Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, State Education Ministry, Beijing Natural Science Foundation Grants, Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission Grant, Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals Incubating Program Grant et al. Dr. Wang presented more than 100 abstracts at national and international meetings and published 37 papers in peer-reviewed journals, as well as 3 book chapters.
