Eric Hsi, MD is Department Chair of Laboratory Medicine, Section Head of Hematopathology, Director, Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Cleveland Clinic and Professor of Pathology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He also serves as the Hematopathology Fellowship Program Director at Cleveland Clinic. He is an expert in diagnosis and classification of hematologic malignancy with interests in immunophenotyping and molecular hematopathology. His research interests include pre-clinical therapeutics assessment and biomarkers in lymphoma and leukemia.

In addition to his clinical and academic commitments, he is actively involved in ALLIANCE as Chair of the Pathology Committee as well as Vice Chair of the Lymphoma Committee Translational Science. He is a long-time member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology, College of American Pathologists, United States & Canadian Association of Pathologists and Society for Hematopathology and frequently lectures at national and international meetings. 

Dr. Hsi has authored over 290 peer-reviewed publications, two books, many book chapters, and over 300 abstracts. He serves as an editorial board member of several journals, sits on national committees for several professional societies, and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. He has received the Cleveland Clinic Innovator Award and has been voted as one of the area’s Best Doctors, Cleveland Magazine.
