Michel Meignan, MD, PhD

Professor of Nuclear Medicine and Biophysics at the University of Paris Est Créteil, Director of the imaging group of the LYSA, Créteil, France

Professor Meignan graduated from medical school at Broussais University of Paris. Then he completed a 4-year Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine and Physiology course and had a specialization and board certification in Nuclear Medicine. After working in lung physiology studied with radiotracers, he moved to the field in lymphoma in 2000. 

Since 1990, Professor Meignan is Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Paris East Créteil. From 1997-2014 he was Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the  Hôpital Henri Mondor, Créteil and from 2006-2011 Director of the Imaging , Physiology and Pharmacology department of this hospital. From 2009 he has been organizing the international workshop on PET in lymphoma and from 2010 he has been the Director of the imaging group of the LYSA (LYSA –IM). This group has developed online centralized review of images for images-guided lymphoma trials and is working of the development of imaging biomarkers.
